The following two studies detail the results of stress tests conducted by Schmidt Engineeering, Inc. on QS&T's radiator tubes and oil cooler tubes. The results and conclusions of these two studies produced the following data:

Radiator Tube Stress Analysis (See Details)

  • Yield Tensile Strength = 31,000 psi
  • Ultimate Tensile Strength = 35,000 psi
  • Endurance Limit (500,000,000 cycles) = 10,000 psi

Oil Cooler Tube Stress Analysis (See Details)

  • Yield Tensile Strength = 31,175 psi
  • Ultimate Tensile Strength = 34,800 psi
  • Endurance Limit (500,000,000 cycles) = 10,150 psi
